Spicy Cold Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 block of firm tofu, about 11~16 oz
  • ponzu
  • mala chili oil
  • toasted sesame oil
  • maple syrup
  • optional: micro greens or crushed nori

Instructions

  1. Drain the water from a package of tofu. Organic Tofu tastes best.
  2. Lightly press the remaining water out of the tofu.
  3. Pour all of the liquid ingredients to taste on top of the tofu, about 1/2 tsp~1 tbsp each.
  4. While preforating the tofu by stabbing it with a fork, spoon any sauce that pools on the bottom on top of the tofu.
  5. Optionally, garnish with greens or nori.
