Cheesy Peas
Creamy, slightly sticky, cheesy and filling.

Ingredients
- 80 – 100 g frozen green peas
- 1 – 2 tbsp nooch
- 1 tbsp cashew butter
- tamari
- ponzu
- yellow mustard
- kala namak ( and/or salt )
- 0.5 – 2 tsp garlic powder
- white pepper powder
- 1 – 2 tsp miso paste ( optional ) for more umami
- sweetener ( optional ) ( date syrup and/or stevia )
Instructions
- Pour peas into a microwavable bowl alongside all liquid ingredients. If adding powdered ingredients ( except for kala namak ) stir them in.
- Cook at max settings for 3:30 minutes or 90 seconds at max power followed by 2:45 at 20% power. If using a lid, reduce the cooking time by 30 –40 s.
- let sit for 1 – 2 minutes before touching the heating vessel.
- Stir in all solid ingredients ( if not done so already ), followed by cashew butter and kala namak.
- Stir in the rest of the optional ingredients.
The flavorings should make the peas fresh yet cheesy.
